Ground fault detection
FT50832 FT52165 FT53021 FT53043For trackside, this ground fault detection relay measures DC current from frame to ground. Mainly installed in Metro and tramways substation, the relay is connected between the ground and the substation frame. If an insulation breakdown occurs the fault current flows through the relay which picks it up. No auxiliary power is needed. As an option, a permanent magnet Gives to the relay the capacity of staying latched even if the fault disappears, a top button allows manual reset. Thanks to this option, the relay can detect both AC and DC current. In options, we propose a relay with remote reset (FT53021 type) and a polarized relay (FT53043 type).

Catenary voltage detection
FT53025/26/27For trackside, in DC applications (750 | 1500 | 3000 Vdc), this relay is used to detect the presence of catenary voltage into the cubicles from the rectifier. High insulation resistance (up to 12 KV 50hz) provides great resistance to overvoltage, especially natural ones (lightning). Moreover, no auxiliary power is needed.
